A dryer tells you what's wrong long before it quits. Clothes come out damp. The drum thumps. A burning smell drifts down the hall. Those are symptoms, and each one points to a short list of parts: heating element, thermal fuse, thermostat, blower wheel, belt, drum rollers, or a vent line packed with lint. Our visit starts with questions, then a look at airflow, heat, and motion — the three systems that make a dryer work. We test before we replace. If the real problem is a crushed vent behind the wall, we say so instead of swapping parts. We repair all major brands as an independent shop. Describe what your dryer is doing when you call us, and we'll narrow it down.

Worth a look before you call — sometimes it saves you the visit.
Almost always airflow. Lint collects in the duct, the blower slows, and moist air stays in the drum. We measure exhaust flow and inspect the vent run before touching internal parts, since a duct problem imitates a heater problem closely.'
Usually yes. No-heat faults come from fuses, thermostats, and elements — bolt-in parts on most models. We check the cause of the failure too, because a blown thermal fuse often means the vent overheated the machine.
Both. Electric dryers fail at elements and fuses. Gas models add igniters, flame sensors, and gas valve coils. The diagnosis path differs, so tell us which type you have when you call us.
Noisy, mostly. Thumping usually means drum rollers or a bearing wearing flat. Left alone, a failed roller can scar the drum or strain the motor, so it's better handled while it's still just noise.
Clean the lint screen every load and the outside flap monthly. The full duct run, especially long or roof-terminated ones, needs tools and inspection. We check that line as part of a dryer visit.
Many are done in a single visit once the fault is identified. Common parts like belts, fuses, rollers, and elements are stocked on the van. Uncommon control boards may need an order and a return trip.
Tell us what you hear, smell, or see. Grinding? Puddle? Blinking code? Small details narrow the list of likely causes before we ever pull the machine away from the wall.
A technician runs through a checklist: power, controls, sensors, motors, seals, drainage. We test instead of guessing, then walk you through the actual fault and your repair options.
Some faults are worth fixing today. Others mean the appliance is near the end. We tell you which is which, then complete the repair once you say go.
Ask these of anyone you let into your home — us included. Call and we'll answer all five before you book anything.
